- Start by creating an account here.
- Add your virtual balloon or balloons to your cart and pay with your debit or credit card. Your balloon purchase(s) will be confirmed to you by email.
- If you have been gifted a virtual balloon, you will be sent a unique ‘Balloon Activation code’ by email, which you can enter to give you access to your balloon account.
- Now you are ready to start decorating and customising your virtual balloon!
About Walk the Walk
Walk the Walk is a grant making charity dedicated to raising money and awareness for vital breast cancer and other cancer causes. We are also passionate about encouraging women, men and children to start walking as the easiest way of becoming more active, as well as keeping fit and healthy. This is a key part of overall well-being and prevention against cancer and all disease.
Since 1996, Walk the Walk has raised an incredible £134 million - all the money raised on our challenges is raised for Walk the Walk. We then award grants to other charities and organisations across the UK, where the charity feels it will do the most good. Around half of our grants go towards research projects currently focused on metastatic breast cancer in women and men, which is important to all our future health.
Funding is also provided for integrated care, which includes essential physical and emotional support for those living with cancer. During these very difficult and challenging times, this is where our focus lies and your support would be so valuable.

Cancer treatment is in crisis as many cancer charities across the UK are on their knees trying to survive, whilst supporting much needed front line cancer services...
Early cancers are being left undetected, and experts are warning that treatments could regress by 5 years.
Normally, Walk the Walk would be holding many exciting events and challenges including its flagship event The MoonWalk London which would raise in excess of £5 million in just one night!... but there is nothing normal about 2020 and this year we have no ‘live’ events and therefore very reduced fundraising.

Your funds will form part of our Emergency Grant Fund whereby £20,000 a month is being donated to cancer charities that need funds now, helping them to survive these coming months.
Covid-19 will loosen its grip on our lives at some point, but cancer will still be with us. Cancer can be a very lonely journey, even without the impact of the isolation caused by Covid-19...
For those lucky enough to have treatments, many have had to self-isolate away from family and friends, in order to give themselves the best chance of recovery.
Over the past 6 months’ hospitals and doctors have seen 60% less referrals for cancer, which means early cancers have been left undetected and those that may have had primary and treatable cancers, are now more complex.
Together we can help to make sure that services offering emotional and physical support for cancer patients are there for those that need it now.
